Magnolia is looking for a top professional senior developer to join full time to a stellar team.

You are a Java developer with extensive experience in building scalable server applications using various Java technologies. You have a deep understanding of key performance design patterns, with specific emphasis to Java, and are eager to apply your knowledge to our unique domain. Your ability to resolve complex problems has been recognized throughout your career.

Responsibilities

In this position, you will:

- Contribute to the development of Magnolia CMS

- Support the team in concept definition, design specification, documentation, etc.

- Help potential clients during Magnolia projects: Advise customers hands-on how to successfully implement their solution. Hold developer workshops for clients. Implement prototyping solutions. Travel to the client’s location to provide the above services on-site.

Qualifications

You should get a charge out of building high value & compelling user functionality quickly in the enterprise software space.

- University degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related fields

- 3 or more years of professional Java development experience

- 5 or more years of object-oriented programming experience

- Experience in a variety of the following areas: Object-oriented design. Enterprise Java technologies (JEE, servlets, etc.). Java Content Repository (JCR), SQL, RDBMS. Web technologies (e.g. HTTP, CSS, JavaScript). XML and related technologies (e.g., XSL, XPath, etc.). Web Services/SOA technologies.

- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written

- A strong commitment to timelines and deliverables

- The drive, enthusiasm and desire required in a highly dynamic work environment that must compete in a global technology market
