The Inside Sales team delves into unexplored opportunities to sell Red Hat's comprehensive enterprise offerings. Representatives are responsible for identifying, maintaining, and closing deals with new and existing customers. They also manage quarterly forecasts and track customer data. It's a highly collaborative position, calling for close cooperation with internal and external partners to improve services and create solutions that serve the best interests of customers.

Key Responsibilities:
- Sells Red Hat complete Software portfolio into Switzerland Territory Accounts. Up-sells and cross-sells Red Hat's products in all calls and opportunities. Works against an individual sales quota
- Works directly by phone by driving comprehensive Enterprise offerings into assigned Region by identifying, qualifying and closing opportunities.
- Supports and promotes Red Hat ?s Channel Strategy by building relationships with Partners.
- Ensures greater Regional coverage by identifying end customer business profiles, contact names and positions within each customer.
- Fulfills all opportunities through channel only.
- Works closely with Partners on managing and closing leads and opportunities ­ handing over opportunities for closing / fulfillment at earliest stage.
- Works with and co­ordinates all internal resource: Sales support, pre­sales, customer service , order entry etc to ensure most efficient and low cost route to opportunity closure for Regional team.
- Follows up all sales leads in shortest possible time by phone and mail.
- Works with Channel Manager and Sales Support to create, distribute and follow up on Sales campaigns.
-Qualifies directly within customer organization and by use of Hoovers, Google etc as needed. Use full qualification techniques to understand whether an opportunity has greater potential.
- Fully utilizes Red Hat's Salesforce.com and Supportable X systems to update opportunity status through the pipeline from lead to order (forecast).
- Will contact Regional Account to introduce and identify themselves as the first contact point within Red Hat.
- Continuously trains on all of Red Hat's offerings to more effectively use the company's technical resources
in driving opportunities.
- Keeps up­ to­ date knowledge of the industry as well as the competitive posture of the company.
